This is such a mind bomb! I mean, I remember these tests, and the discussions my wife and I had. We were intent on keeping whatever child we were getting, Down Syndrome or not. However, we weren’t so cavalier as to not have the test done. Our reasoning? To be prepared for whatever child we were going to have. Down Syndrome Children have special challenges, and rightly so… they are special people. No one is more loving than the Down Syndrome child. Or adult for that matter. Sweet, kind and full of hugs has been my experience.
And don’t you dare doubt my experience…. There is a LARGE Hanna Family, that will square you away, post haste, on that number, believe me!!
Thank you Hanna Family, for making me a better human being…
